You will see that, changing filter of either “My Value”, “User 1”, “User 2”, “User 3” or “% progress” columns, all those collumns get sort of filtered too.

Important to mention that they are all numeric (or null) values.

In my specific case, I have several columns of type number, but pretty often, they present blank (or null) values. Is the filter considering them as text, then?

I’ve found a way to make it work:

$('#jqxgrid').jqxGrid('showloadelement'); // Load appears
// Waits .5 seconds before starting the process for the load image to be able to appear...
setTimeout(function() {

}, 500);

What this code does it delaying the grid load for half a second in other for the loading image to be able to appear.

The cellrenderer works fine. The only thing is that the filter won’t follow the same pattern.

I see in your API (jqxgrid.js) some other formats:

Hi Dimitar,

Maybe it is something I’ve been doing wrong, then, because I never see the loading message, even when my grid takes 5 seconds (or even more) to load.

Since all related parameters are set by default for it to appear, in my opinion this should work.
