Just to let you know this behavior happens in your Default Functionality in your Grid Demo on your web site.
Thanks!

I have confirmed, at least in my applications, that the fix posted by Peter and company solves both issues identified. I did not test the fix in older versions of Chrome.
Firefox, which didn’t experience the issues, still works fine.
Peter – thanks to your team for such a quick turnaround!

October 15, 2020 at 10:36 pm in reply to: JqxGrid selection problem JqxGrid selection problem #113336There also is an issue with scrolling with the scrollbar where items at the bottom of the grid are doubled up. I can easily replicate it when I use the scrollbar thumb to quickly scroll up and down at the bottom of the grid. Rows at the bottom of the grid become very strange.
The issue does not happen in Firefox.
I’m not sure the solution is the same as what you’re working on.
Thanks,
Rob

Hi,
Has there been a resolution to this? It seems that when part of the kanban is not displayed the drag and drop coordinates are not calculated properly. I am experiencing a problem where the kanban item I’m dragging appears 8 inches outside of the kanban.
Thanks,
Rob

I have a demo coming up soon and would appreciate some interim solution until this is corrected.

Thank you very much – these examples solved my problem. I was specifying the valueAxis for each series group rather than specifying a single valueAxis above the seriesgroups.
Thank you for your great support!

I am displaying charts in a window and it’s kinda embarrassing showing tooltips without any content.
I just downloaded the latest version from the registered user site and the problem persists.
Thanks,

January 3, 2017 at 3:35 pm in reply to: Share Value Axis for Bar Chart and Line Overlay Share Value Axis for Bar Chart and Line Overlay #90266Hristo,
Thanks for the quick reply. The example you showed me uses a different valueAxis for the line chart. I need to use the same valueAxis for the column chart and the line chart. I also need to allow the valueAxis to be ‘auto’. The issue is that I need to tell the line chart to use the same valueAxis definition as the column chart but allow the column chart while leaving it ‘auto’. It would be nice to tell the line chart to ‘useSameValueAxis’ as the column chart.
Thanks,
Rob

Thanks, for the quick reply. It wasn’t a real issue for me, but what you suggested works perfectly.
Now to purchase a license of jqWidgets.
Thanks,

January 15, 2016 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Setting Tooltip on jqxSlider Causes .val() to be empty. Setting Tooltip on jqxSlider Causes .val() to be empty. #80437Dimitar,
Thank you for the quick response. However, the internal tooltip for the slider is intended to be a slider value display not a traditional tooltip on a control that provides popup help information for the user. It seems that the internal code for the slider uses the same internal attributes for the value tooltip, which is what may be causing the odd interaction behavior I am seeing.
I have modified my design to not use the tooltip on the slider for help text purposes.
Thank you,
Rob
Dimitar,
That worked perfectly! Thank you for your continued support.
Rob
Hristo,
Sadly this solution does not work if the popup window is modal, which is what I need. There must be a way to change the “parent” of the popover window to the popup window so the popover opens relative to the popup and not the background window.
Thanks,
Rob
