Thanks for the tidbit but if commit(false) it shouldn’t be cleared and the selectedrowindex is still lost.

Did you file a bug report with your issue tracker to get this fixed?

RowId Bug
thanks for your reply so the RowId bug is apparently my lack of understanding when reading examples. In docs we have Row, RowId, and rowindex through out the examples and I could not find the documents for the deleterow function in the source for the datasource. Could you point me to those? I searched the api reference under the grid and dataAdapter and I wasn’t finding it that showed the meaning of those parameters. So i inferred incorrectly based off what I found.

It also be helpful if the create, update, delete example that i am using shows the use of the rowid as it does not in the json source it gives.

Thanks Hristo, you are right… It did not propagate down. I corrected it on the server side to force it. Sorry I posted in the wrong forum… Don’t know how that happened.

and thanks for showing me client side checking because I am going to need that with something I am going to do…
