I see that integration with AngularJS in on the roadmap for the next 3 months. I’m very interested on the MEAN stack, which uses AngularJS, and I would rather target AngularJS than Knockout. Can I assume that AngularJS will be in a Spring release, and go ahead and get stuck into learning it now?

    Hi jaffamcneill,

It is your own decision whether to learn or not AngularJS. It is not necessary to know AngularJS to use jQWidgets. In the next 3 months, we will add several help topics about using jQWidgets along with AngularJS and that will be for now.

Thanks Peter – what I would really like to know is whether you will be providing the same sort of data bindings for AngularJS that you have done for Knockout, or will it be more up to the user to do their own interfacing with AngularJS?

    Best Regards,
    Jim

PS have you had a look at mean.io? I understand that Linnovate intend to develop an installer for it, I don’t know if that would be a commercial or open source product, but there may be an opportunity for jqWidgets to comprise either a licensed part of that, or to provide an introductory package?

    Hi Jim,

No, we would not provide data bindings for AngularJS for now. We will provide help topics about it. Our development plans are available on our Roadmap page.
