Search field feature in grid

I don’t find “Search field” feature in jqsGrid. Is it possible to add like there is an option for jqxDataTable ?
Also, Just for test I added “filterMode: ‘simple'” in jqxGrid and result is little strange. Now after adding there is new option excel like filter “Show rows where:” option is enabled on the header. But I can’t select any checkbox.

Any idea ?

Hello rishisahi,

There is no such built-in functionality in jqxGrid, but it can be implemented, as discussed in the forum topic grid auto complete contains search. There is also no filterMode property. There is filtermode and its only possible values are ‘default’ and ‘excel’.
