Questions about data export in grid

Hi,

I try the data export function on iPad and just find that exporting to excel doesn’t work well as the browser gets stuck and nothing happens. I think some messages should be given showing that iPad doesn’t support some types of files if there’s no supporting apps installed.

Besides, I download the commercial version jQWidgets but I can’t find the PHP file for data exporting. Can you help me with these issues?

Hi midi,

The PHP file for data exporting is available only for licensed customers. We will consider adding an alert message, if someone tries to call the exportdata method from IPAD. Note, that there’s no way for us to know whether someone has Excel installed or not and whether the user can open or not .xls files.
