Nested grid with 2 json Files

Hello,

I ‘ve tried to use your nested exemple wich is using two XML files for data contents.
When trying to use two json files instead, it doesn’t work and says: “No Data to display” in the nested section.
So can you confirm that we can use two json files to create a nested grid? any exemple based on json?
If not, how can we build a nested grid from one (and only one) json file?

Hi zebulon,

You can use XML, JSON, JSONP, CSV, TSV or Array to populate jqxGrid. A working example with JSON data and Nested Grids is available in the download package in the phpdemos folder.

To go forward, do you have an example where we can use a nested grid with only ONE json file?
i.e the nested part would be a nested element with the json file.
It would be great to see an exemple that show how to “fill” this nested grid
