Losing scroll position with row details enabled

Hello,

I’m running in a problem with rowdetails enabled the scroll position is getting reset to the top of the grid. I found the same behavior in the hiderowdetails demo . To replicate scroll down then hit the button. The scroll bar will return to the top.
I’ve noticed similar behavior when I resize the browser window.

Is there a way to prevent the scroll reset?

Hello Joe,

It is the expected behaviour of the hiderowdetails method to return the scrollbar to its initial position. We cannot reproduce this when resizing the browser window, though.

Sorry that demo didn’t have the behavior, it occurs if the width is set to a % instead of a constant. I changed the width to a percent in this demo http://jsfiddle.net/dexhL2ka/. The scroll reset on window resize only occurs if the vertical scroll bar moves over the grid contents.

I tried to replicate it with a percent height and constant width but it didn’t happen.

Is there a way to hide all of the row details in a grid without resetting the scroll position? I’ve also tried the refreshdata and clear methods but they do the same thing.
