    Hi,

I see there is a new “jqxsplitLayout widget. Is this intended as replacement for both jqxsplitter and jqxlayout?

As I use both jqxsplitter and jqxlayout, I was wondering if I should be thinking of moving them over to the combined one and if so what are the advantages and is the transition likely to be straightforward?

Is drag/drop well supported in the new one?

    Thanks

Sorry, forget the last bit about drag/drop – I was thinking of an app where I will need to be having grids in different parts of the layout and drag/drop rows between them, but that is to do with the grid drag/drop capability, not the layout. The question of potential advantage of using the combined one remains however as I was musing on whether to use it rather than one of the other two.

    Hi NormB,

You are right, jqxSplitLayout is a newer version of our jqxSplitter widget, which allows the creation of complex layouts with panels that can be nested, resized, dragged and closed.
