Hello.
The current behavior of the “showPasswordIcon” switch is that the password content is displayed as long as the switch is held down.

For a new project, I have to ensure that the plain text of the password remains displayed even after the “showPasswordIcon” switch has been released. So I need a kind of toggleswitch to show or hide the plaintext.

Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?

The password box does not have the behavior you’re looking for. If you would like, we can implement it as a custom development project.
