jqxDropDownList take too much time when data is too large

Hi,

I have faced an issue related to jqxdropdownlist. Whenever my source is in a million, it will take too much time to open and close in every attempt. Please check an example and guide me what should I do, I have jqwidget 12 version with license.

Hi,

The jqxDropDownList cannot handle so large amount of data. If you need to display a million of items in a dropdown, I would suggest you using the Grid in Virtual mode with 1 column so it resembles a list and putting the Grid in a DropDownButton component i.e the behavior would be like of a DropDownList.
