Internet Explorer 11 on Surface RT tablet

Hi All,

I have found some huge issues with the grid while running on a Surface RT tablet, and Internet Explorer version 11 (11.0.9600.18321, update version 11.0.31). These issues occur in the demos on your site, in addition to our current implementation.

– can’t select rows, either by touch or mouse click. Similarly, can’t click into fields for editing (checkboxes, etc.)
– can’t scroll the grid
– no column resizing
– likely more that I haven’t spotted yet

We are also using the jqxSlider control, and it exhibits some of the same behavior. It seems like generally a problem with events. Is this a known issue? I’m supposed to support this platform, and I will be in a bit of trouble if it can’t be solved.

Hi Stan Logan,

We do not support WinRT and so Surface RT Tablet in the current version of jQWidgets. For now, we do not plan to add support for this device.

Well, I guess I have to hope that my management lets us modify our target specifications.
