how to get the entered text in jqxcombobox

This is still a problem in 4.5.0. If the content of the edit matches something in the list then val returns the value, not the display member.

The expected behaviour is that the method val returns the valueMember of the currently selected item. In the case of entered items, the displayMember and valueMember are the same and, technically, the valueMember is again returned by val.
