Grid Group selection and single row selection of checkbox

I need to group a grid by some column but I should only able to select a group or single row by a checkbox. can we do that in jqxgrid?
the requirement is group selection and deselection.
single row selection and deselection.

What do you want to achieve?
You could group and select specific rows with custom logic.
