How can I get the node level number, when I on an element?

Hello andreas20,

Here is how to alert the level of a tree item:

            $('#jqxTree').bind('select', function (event) {
                var args = event.args;
                var item = $('#jqxTree').jqxTree('getItem', args.element);
                var level = item.level;
                alert(level);
            });
