filtermode "Simple" for Grid

Hi,

We are evaluating the usage of this rich library in our project and till now whatever we have seen is really impressive.

We want to know if the filtermode : ‘simple’ available for jqxdatatable (demo link below) is also available for jqxGrid or any workaround for such a filter in jqxGrid would be helpful.

It’s available only for the DataTable. The Grid has multiple other filtering modes demonstrated in the Demos section.

I would like to know if there is a common search filter for Grid where in I type values in a text box and the Grid data gets filtered based on the input (the exact same functionality available for DataTable).

I wanted to set the maxlength on the search field to 10 so that I cannot enter more than 10 charaters in search field.

Can anyone please help me with that.
