DropDownList is not working for a specific customer

hello –

for some very strange reason, this example:

is not working for one specific customer using cox-cable, and it was tested in all three, edge, chrome, and firefox, and tested on two different computers, same household.

in chrome and firefox, the dropdown does not even appear. in Edge, the dropdown appears, but it behaves as if the LEFT-CLICK is somehow disabled(?)

i wanted her to try this at an alternative location, but all alternative locations are temporarily closed off, sadly enough.

it’s as if either their router or ISP is blocking us. i looked in the browser-console as well, no errors.

my next “guess” is to have the customer use a VPN service, although using “Browsec VPN” did not fix the issue.

any other guesses what the problem might be? is there some special debug version?

Our QA did not detect any issues in that demo.

yes, i am sure it is some bizarre local issue. i have the cox-cable looking into it.

it behaves as if the internet-cable company is putting some sort of hidden div over the widget and blocking left-click.

and it also works fine on an iPad at this location, but not two micro$$oft ‘puters.

next thing to try is a VPN.

the problem MYSTERIOUSLY disappeared…. closing this issue.

i am thinking the client needs to get rid of the HP laptop and replace with an Acer.
