Changing the z-index property jqxMenu?

Hello,

I’m using the jqxWindow and inside it put a jqxMenu.
The main menu works correctly, but when I add a sub-menu to the main menu. the z-index property it is low considering the z-index of jqxWindow with that of the sub-menu div is “hidden”.

I have not found a way to get a handle z-index property.

I did a test by changing the library code jqxmenu.js, but even removing the z-index code, when riding on the screen as the property is “1000”.

What can I do to solve?

Hi rppimenta,

It is currently not possible to change the z-index of the Menu through its API. We will consider improving its API regarding this functionality in a future version.

Just so I have a path, then the library today jqxWindow not accept a sub-menu with jqxMenu inside? If so I will look for another solution to the menu within the jqxWindow

I use jqxWindow, the menu is under window. It is ugly

Hi ghitza,

jqxWindow is with the highest z-index. It is supposed the menu to have lower z-index.

Hi Ghitza,

In the next version – jQWidgets 2.7, jqxMenu will have a property which will allow you to specify its default zIndex. This could be used in your scenario.
