Cannot paste images any more (Chrome)

jqxEditor allowed to paste image data into the editor window (I am talking about image CONTENT e.g. copied from an image opened in Windows Paint, NOT an image link to a file).

The image could then be moved and resized inside the editor and was stored as a string blob inside editor’s HTML content.

This image pasting does not work any more in Chrome (latest version “49.0.2623.110 m”).

This is reproducible within the jqxEditor Demo page on this site.

I’m sorry that I cannot tell you since when this does not work any more. What I can say is that it works with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

I also checked the online demos of a few other text editor components (summerbox, roala, textbox.io) and these work with Chrome.

Any suggestions / explanations / help / known issue / … ?

Hi r.ammann,

We never supported or claimed that we support pasting of images in our text editor. Images in jqxEditor can be inserted only via its Toolbar Insert Image button.
