Cannot edit row details when selectionmode: 'checkbox'

Hi

When I use the below combination for the grid properties I am not able to edit the row details

editable: true,
editmode: ‘selectedrow’,
selectionmode: ‘checkbox’,

but when I replace with editmode: ‘selectedcell’ then I am able to edit the cells individually and if I remove the selectionmode: ‘checkbox’ with editmode: ‘selectedrow’ then on click on the row it enters into edit mode.

Please help.

Hello Shankar,

I assume by “row details” you mean the cells of the row and not nested grids. Indeed, the whole row cannot be edited when the selectionmode is set to “checkbox”. You can edit it through Popup Editing, though.

If you meant nested grids, however, there are no issues in editing them because the nested grids do not depend on their parent’s editmode or selectionmode.
