Bring back display:inline-block for Slider control

In a prior version (3.8) we could use the style ‘display: inline-block’ for the slider controls. Now it seems that the slider must be on its own line.
Could you restore that functionality, please.

2. setValue does not throw an error, too. Please, refer to: http://jsfiddle.net/jqwidgets/4HeeJ/

Could you share an example which demonstrates the errors on your side.
