I would really like to use a normal input box for the datetime input widget, but it seems that it can only be used with divs. Is there a way around this? I would like to use a normal input box because my backend automatically generates my form’s fields and in order for the backend to validate everything correctly, I must use normal input fields.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi dalberto,

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible. The DateTimeInput requires a container element as it adds additional elements like ‘calendar’ button, popup, etc.
